108th Wing, NJANG monthly publication, Wing Tips Cover story graphic is created for a story about the effort to get the Humanitarian Service Medal for the National Guard members who were activated during Superstorm Sandy in October, 2012. The graphic combines the purple white and blue stripes from the HSM’s suspension ribbon, a photo graph of the medal itself and a satellite image of Superstorm Sandy as she was bearing down on the coast of New Jersey.
